News & Sentiment Analysis - Service Overview
News & Sentiment Analysis service is intended to assist global markets traders and speculators and is related primarily to the currency market. The information provided should not be construed in any manner whatsoever as recommendations to buy or sell any security but only as an expression of opinion.
The implemented approach focuses on behavioral and sentiment analysis of the events that can cause shifts in supply and demand. It allows making some valuable conclusions lasting at least 1 day (usually 2 – 10 days). Economic reports, speeches, political events together with the reckoning of major fundamentals and trends constitute the subject of the research.
The service itself currently includes:
detailed weekly calendar (it is currently available for free);
daily upcoming news notifications together with descriptions, expectations and different scenarios of market reactions and changes in the opinion;
list of news, where each item consists of analyst’s comment, an article and link to the original report (if available);
simple and clear set of conclusions for currencies, S&P 500 and Gold in the form of ‘Recommendations’.
Calendar
Weekly Calendar includes brief schedule of major statistical and economical reports, speeches, meetings for U.S., Euro-zone, U.K., Japan, Australia and Canada: dates, times and report names as well as market expectations for some of the listed events.
Notifications
Every morning (Eastern Coast) an overview of the upcoming events is prepared and sent via e-mail. This letter covers market reflections, expectations and explains the possible scenarios of market reaction to the most influential events.
Changes in ‘Recommendations’ status can be sent to mobile phone via SMS.
News
This section is available trough password-protected area on the site. The list of news is arranged in chronological order. News and reports can be filtered by country and report period.
Each item consists of short name, analyst’s comment, brief article highlighting the most important issues of the event and the link to the original report. The section is usually updated within 5 hours after the release time.
‘Recommendations’
All available information is summarized in the form of ‘Recommendations’, which are intended to serve as an additional opinion for trading decisions.
The opinion is expressed as ‘Buy’, ‘Sell’, ‘None’ shortcuts that reflect the prevailing tendency in the market lasting at least 1 day (usually 2 – 10 days). The time of the last change as well as the time of possible future changes for each ‘Recommendation’ is provided.
‘Recommendations’ are usually set in very convenient and predictive manner, though sudden changes may occur. Everyday e-letter informs about current status and possible projections while SMS alerts notify about any changes in ‘Recommendations’.
