Our Track Record
Our decision-making approach

Trading Signals (Forex, S&P 500, Gold)

This service is a unique way to employ the best trading opportunities. Within its framework, we try to predict the direction of the next middle-term trend and send you our buy or sell trading signal accurately before the ending of corrective phase.

Experts the company have succeeded both in studying classical approaches to trading, and in development of unique techniques. Usually, one of the reliable trading systems or models generates a signal (a Forex signal, for example) then the other pieces of information are used to confirm the signal and check its consistency. UnderstandMarket.com provides only highly reliable Forex signals (as well as S&P 500 and Gold signals), which are approved and reviewed by our two Chief Analysts.

Each Trading Signal includes a set of Alerts about opening, management and closing of a position.

Our Signal Alerts (as well as Position Management Alerts) are laconic and convenient text messages that can be delivered to you in the way you prefer. You can choose SMS, E-mail and Web as delivery methods.

Typical Signal (Position Management) Alert consists of:

  • Security Name: the name of the currency pair or index that this Alert is related to.
  • Date and Time: date and time in GMT when the Alert was issued.
  • Action: the action to perform with security mentioned. Possible values: Buy, Sell, Partial Buy, Partial Sell, Set S/L, Set T/P.
  • Price Range: entry or exit price range. After decision on opening/closing a position is made and approved by our Chief Analysts we consider both upward and downward short-term directions as equiprobable and send an Alert to our subscribers with price range calculated by the following formula: current price +/- 30 (up to 50) pips. Entry and exit price ranges are comparable with daily volatility. As we provide middle-term trading signals, the exact time of day to open your position is not critical in normal trading circumstances.
  • Volume: this option allows implementation of more flexible position management, i.e. enables partial closing or adding to a position. There are 4 possible variants of 'Volume' for opened position: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0. Volume is also may be perceived as a measure of reliability of the position as gauged by our analysts.
  • S/L Level or T/P Level: stop-loss or take-profit level. Most of our forex signals have initial stop-levels. Some models and predictive systems for S&P500 and Gold do not generate initial stop levels, because they are supposed to be situational. If there is no initial stop-level, it will be set later (an Alert will be sent) or the position will be closed by issuing appropriate Alert with the closing price range.
  • Additional info: possible targets and expected duration of the trade. This information is available on internal pages of our site.

We issue the alerts about opening/changing of a position as we receive the approving of our Chief Analysts. They make the final decision according to the data prepared by our research staff.

Our usual business day lasts from 8:00 GMT till 16:00 GMT (from 3:00 ET till 11:00 ET [GMT -5]).

Forex signals can be generated at any of the given time. S&P 500 signals are usually generated before the open bell (i.e. before 9:30 ET, 14:30 GMT).

If you wish to receive our Signals&Position Management Alerts by SMS, be sure to check if our gateway can deliver messages to your wireless operator (Click here to check). You can also specify restricted hours in GMT, when you wish not to be disturbed by SMS Alerts, i.e. at night time or intense business time in your region.
